Jagdish Kharel, Minister of Communication and Information Technology, has been appointed as the spokesperson of the Government of Nepal.

The cabinet meeting held on Thursday at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers decided to appoint Minister Kharel as the spokesperson. Communication Minister Kharel said that the meeting decided that the registration and renewal of online media should be done retrospectively by the Information and Broadcasting Department, the Revenue Investigation Department, the Asset Laundering Department and the National Investigation Department will be returned to their original status.
