According to the data released by the Department of Tourism, 513 people have taken permission for 2025 autumn mountain climbing so far.

The most attractive mountain in this season is Manaslu (8163 m). Only 374 people (279 men and 95 women) from 31 teams have taken permission to climb Manaslu.

From this, the government has collected more than 150.76 million rupees as royalty. After Manaslu, 24 people have taken permission to climb Dhaulagiri Pratham (8167 m), which has generated around Rs 50 lakh 71 thousand as royalty.

In third place is Nuptse (7855m), where 11 climbers have obtained climbing permits. About 7 lakh 50 thousand rupees revenue has been collected from this. Similarly, 15 people from four teams have taken permission to climb Mount Everest (8848.86 meters). From this, the government got about 42 lakh 12 thousand rupees as royalty.

Other popular peaks include Himlung, Putha Himchuli, Saribung, Lhayu Peak, Lohatse, Makalu, etc. A total of 513 (390 male and 123 female) climbers from 60 teams are going to climb the Nepalese mountains this autumn with permission. The

department has collected more than 17 crores of royalties during this period alone. According to tourism professionals, Manaslu is a major peak that is popular during autumn. The same trend has been observed this time as well.
