According to Subas Dhakal, Joint Secretary in charge of the Information Technology Division of the Prime Minister's Office, the update has been delayed because Prime Minister Sushila Karki's secretariat is not complete.

Even after more than a week has passed since the formation of the interim government, the official social media accounts under the government have not been updated. Even after eight days of the formation of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, the social networks of various ministries, including the Prime Minister, are seen to be inactive.
The prime minister's X (formerly Twitter) account has not posted anything since September 3, while Facebook has not had any new content since September 13. Similarly, the Ministry of Finance's Twitter has been silent since August 26, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Facebook and Twitter have not been updated since September 13 and September 19.
After the official social media accounts were found to be inactive, we contacted Subas Dhakal, Joint Secretary in charge of the Information Technology Division of the Prime Minister's Office. According to him, the update is delayed because the Prime Minister's Secretariat is not complete.
Co-Secretary Dhakal said-'Due to the recent adverse situation and the honorable secretary's secretariat has not been completed, there has been a delay otherwise there is nothing like that . The Secretariat will start updating as soon as it is complete . If there are urgent matters, it will be updated.'
Who owns these accounts?
Joint Secretary Dhakal said that the official social media accounts of the Prime Minister are monitored by the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers. According to Dhakal, all official social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) are owned by the Private Secretariat under the Prime Minister's Office headed by a Joint Secretary.
Dhakal said- 'Among the private secretariats, the secretariat including the government employees (joint secretary) manages these accounts . Not outside the private secretariat headed by the Joint Secretary . It can be authenticated only from that person's mobile phone. The transfer is done after the change of secretariat . Currently, due to some delays, the update is not possible.'
