Government, public, private and commercial buildings/establishments including Rashtrapati Bhavan Sheetal Niwas, Prime Minister's Niwas Waluwatar, Supreme Court, Singh Darbar, Federal Parliament Building, Investigation Commission on Abuse of Authority were burnt in the

demonstration. During this time, 197 units including police barracks and offices including the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Valley Crime Investigation Office, Valley Traffic Police Office and the Police Department have been completed. 258 units have been partially damaged. After looting and arson, safety equipment has also been looted. Out of this, 1100 nals of deadly weapons of various calibers have also been looted from all over the country. Prisoners have escaped from 26 prisons/prisons in the country, including the Central Prison and Nakhkhu Prison, by vandalizing and setting fire to the prisons.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, 14,043 people, including prisoners and those detained for investigation, have broken out of prisons and police detention cells. Of these, only about 4,000 have been arrested, while the rest are still absconding. The Police Headquarters has mobilized a special mechanism across the country to search for escaped prisoners and vandals. Along with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the security agencies have also appealed to the general public to inform about this. There is a risk that crimes may occur across the country due to prisoners and detainees who have escaped from prisons and detention. Keeping this in mind, the home has made a public appeal to report the crime on Friday.
