Home Minister Omprakash Aryal has discussed with the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of 77 districts. The virtual discussion focused on three things.
In the meeting, peace and security, the upcoming festival and the celebration of the Constitution Day were discussed, according to a source in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
A CDO said that after Aryal took charge on Monday, he had a briefing with the CDOs of all the districts about the situation there and he also gave some instructions. According to him, when information about security threats came to the Ministry of Interior and Ministers after the Genji movement, they were specially monitored. Home Minister Aryal has instructed security agencies to focus on guaranteeing security and the security of all citizens.
Similarly, since the interim government was formed recently and there is an atmosphere of agitation and fear throughout the country, Home Minister Aryal has given instructions to work in a way that reassures the citizens as well as special surveillance. Since it was the first discussion, there was a lot of briefing about the formalities and the latest situation. The discussion focused on peace and security and the security of the festival," a CDO said. "There was also a discussion about celebrating the Constitution Day on August 3."
Home Ministry sources claim that there was no discussion about the election in Tuesday's meeting.
