4 Nepalis died in Khola area near Kotkhai in Himachal Pradesh, India when the jeep went out of control while returning from transporting apples. Nepalese laborers died when a jeep carrying apples met with an accident on Monday morning.

According to the Kotkhai police, the deceased have been identified as 55-year-old Dilli Bahadur Shahi, 39-year-old Ekendra Shahi, 38-year-old Rajesh Bista and 24-year-old Lakshmi. "Three people were in the car, others were walking," said a police officer. "Suddenly, the car went out of control and fell into a ravine. Along with those in the car, the people on foot also died."

According to the police, two Nepali workers were injured in the accident. Wounded  Among them are Nep Bahadur Shahi and Sajan. Kotkhai police said that their address could not be disclosed.

They had reached Shimla to pick and transport apples. Kotkhai is at a distance of 60 km from Shimla. The accident occurred while returning from transporting apples to a place called Khola in Ramnagar area of ​​Kotkhai sub division of Shimla.

The police said that the post-mortem of all the deceased was done in Shimla. He said preparations are being made to bring their bodies to Nepal.

The Nepali Embassy in Delhi has said that it has no information about the incident. "There has been some information from the media, but the full details have not been received," said Prakash Malla, a counselor at the Nepali Embassy.
