In a jeep accident in Kotkhai, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, four people including three from the same family from Salyan have died.

37-year-old Rajesh Bisht, 47-year-old Dilli Bahadur Shahi, 37-year-old Ekendra Shahi and 24-year-old Lakshmi Shahi of Salyan's Kumakh rural municipality-4 Basnetjeula died in a car accident on Monday.

The Ward President of Kumakh Rural Municipality-4 Shobhilal Basnet informed that four people died in a dense area when a pickup vehicle met with an accident while going to work. 

After the death of four people including three of the same family who went for work to return home on Dasain, the whole village is in mourning. According to President Basnet, Lakshmi and three others went to Shimla for labor after planting paddy in June a year ago.

All those who died are undergoing postmortem and those in Shimla  President Basnet says that preparations are being made to bring the body of the deceased home with the help of locals and relatives of Kumakh Rural Municipality.
