On August 24, four prisoners who escaped from different prisons were arrested in Panchthar.

Among those arrested, one escaped from Nakhkhu Jail in Kathmandu and 3 escaped from Jhumka Jail in Sunsari, District Police Office Panchthar Police Chief (DSP) Kaushal Budhathoki informed.

According to Budhathoki, 46-year-old Chandra Bahadur Tamang of Panchthar Kummayak 1 who escaped from Jhumka prison along with 36-year-old Binay Nemwang, the accused in the murder case, Chandra Bahadur Tamang, 46, of Panchthar Kummayak 1, Gopal Bohra, 40, of Panchthar Tumwewa, and Mangalsingh Tumwapo, 30, of Panchthar Fidim Municipality 5, the accused in the drug case, who escaped from Nakhkhu on Tuesday. They were arrested from their homes.

All the four arrested people have been kept in Panchthar Jail.
