Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel, Chief Secretary Eknarayan Aryal, Inspector General of Police Chandrakuver Khapung, Head of National Investigation Department Hutraj Thapa, Inspector General of Armed Police Raju Aryal, Home Secretary Gokarmani Duwadi have made a public appeal saying that the Jenji movement has complicated the situation in the country.
They have issued a mass appeal and asked everyone to exercise restraint when the Prime Minister's resignation has been accepted.
'During the demonstrations in various parts of the country since yesterday, including Kathmandu, there has been a huge loss of property. We offer our heartfelt condolences to the people who lost their lives and express our deepest condolences to the families involved,' the appeal says, 'Since the Prime Minister's resignation has also been accepted, we sincerely request all citizens to exercise restraint in order to prevent further loss of life and property in this dire situation.'
