The district administration office has imposed a curfew after the movement of the young generation (Gen-G) started getting tense.

District Administration Office Kathmandu has issued a curfew order at four places in Baneshwar area. 

In the notice issued by Chief District Officer Chabilal Rizal, curfew has been imposed from Baneshwar Chowk through West Everest Hotel to Dijjibazar, from Baneshwar Chowk to East Min Bhavan, Shantinagar to Tinkune Chowk, from Baneshwar Chowk to North Iplex Mall to Ratnarajya Lakshmi Secondary School and from Baneshwar Chowk down to Shankhamul Bridge through Dakshin Shankhamul. 

What can't be done after curfew?

The district administration office has mentioned in the notification that no one is allowed to travel in the curfew area. According to the District Administration Office, a curfew has been issued to prevent any kind of assembly, procession, demonstration, assembly, meeting, or encirclement.
