The government has used excessive force in Genji's Monday demonstration.

Dozens of protesters were injured during the demonstration. Among the injured, one person has died in the civil hospital .

The police shot at the protestors. After the situation became tense, security chiefs have gathered at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The district administration of Kathmandu has issued a curfew in Tinkune, Baneshwar, Maitighar areas till 10 o'clock on Monday night to bring the protest under control. The chiefs of Nepal Police, Armed Police and District Police have gathered at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
