The Maitighar-Baneshwar road has been completely blocked due to the protest against corruption and the ban on social media in Maitighar, Kathmandu. All the three roads leading from Maitighar towards Thapathali, Putlisadak and Baneshwar are covered by Gen-G.

 Traffic management has become chaotic . In District Police Complex, Kathmandu, Chief SSP World Officer has said that thousands of youths have gathered. "The security mechanism has been strengthened so that no untoward incident takes place," he said, "we will not hinder them from making their demands."
