Thirteen people were killed when the police opened fire during the Jen-G demonstration. The police opened fire on the demonstration centered on Baneshwar.

3 more died in Everest Hospital Baneshwar. Hospital official Anil Adhikari confirmed the death. More than 50 injured people are being treated. 4 people are in serious condition, he said.

 

Similarly, 6 people who were taken to the trauma center for treatment and 2 people died in the civil hospital. Dr. Dipendra Pandey of the trauma center has confirmed the death of 6 people brought to the hospital. "10 people are in critical condition." Civil Executive Director Mohanchandra Regmi said that two people who were brought to the hospital died.
