On Thursday, the Parsa police produced ticket operator Kiran Sah, who was arrested by the Parsa police on the charge of threatening to kill Federal Water Minister Pradeep Yadav, in the district court. He has been presented to the court for the purpose of custody debate.
Shrestedar of District Court Prabhakar Kumar Mallik said that Sah was presented in the bench of Judge Kamalkant Joshi and the debate ended around 3 pm. "The debate is over at around 3 o'clock in the afternoon," he said. He was arrested by Parsa police on Saturday. Sah, who hails from Bara's Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-26 and is currently living in Birgunj metropolitan city-13 Murli, had abused her over the telephone and even threatened to kill her because of the spread of cholera infection in Birganj and her family members were admitted to the hospital but Minister Yadav did not make any efforts to control cholera.
Based on the complaint of Minister Yadav's personal officer Harendra Sah, Parsa police arrested Kiran Sah on Saturday after the incident. A case has been registered against Sah for three offences, namely cyber crime, death threats to federal parliamentarians and spreading false rumours.
In the meantime, Sah was admitted to the hospital twice in a row after he said he had a health problem. On Tuesday night, Sah was admitted to Narayani Hospital in Birgunj after suddenly developing health problems. After being admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night, after his health improved, he was discharged and taken back to the district police office. He was admitted to the hospital again on Wednesday morning and was brought back at 2 pm on the same day.
Parsa Police Spokesperson DSP Kishore Lamsal has said that Kiran Sah admitted during the interrogation that he came on impulse and threatened to kill Minister Yadav. On Wednesday, the telephone conversation in which Sah called Rajeshman Singh, the head of Birgunj Mahanagara, in the style of Minister Yadav, has been leaked through social media. After Sah and another unknown woman had a telephone conversation with Minister Yadav on Wednesday, the telephone conversation between Sah and another unknown woman is also going viral.
There is also speculation that the personal conversation of Sah with another woman was obtained by the police from her mobile phone and was leaked by the police. Women have already demonstrated separately in Birganj demanding the release of Kiran and action against her.
