Chief Justice of India Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai is going to visit Nepal. Gavai is coming to Nepal for the first time after becoming the Chief Justice on Thursday. He is going to visit Nepal to participate in the 'Nepal-India Judicial Dialogue'.
Gawai is scheduled to visit Lumbini, Patan and Pashupati . Earlier, on the invitation of Chief Justice of Nepal Vishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, the then Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud also came to Nepal on a three-day official visit to Nepal in 2024 . It was the first time that the Chief Justice of India came to Nepal while holding the
position.
