District Administration Office Kathmandu has instructed to postpone the special general meeting of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal scheduled to be held on August 24th. By sending a letter to NADA on Monday, the administration has also requested to attend the administration office within seven days with the decisions taken to convene a special general meeting.

"Since a petition was registered in this office on August 16 to stop the special general meeting that was going to be convened illegally, what are the reasons why the special general meeting is not called according to the law?", the letter said, "Although the district administration office has discussed the issue of amending the law many times, what is the reason why the dispute has not been resolved so far?"

Assistant Chief District Officer of District Office Kathmandu Om Prasad Bhattarai said that discussions are being held with auto businessmen on Tuesday. He said that no decision has been made as discussions are still in progress.
