More than 200 climbers from 45 countries are in Nepal for autumn climbing

More than 200 climbers from 45 countries are in Nepal for autumn climbing

The tourism department under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has collected more than 76 million rupees in royalties during the autumn mountaineering season.

According to the department, during this period, 204 mountaineers from 45 countries, including Nepal, have taken permission to climb various mountains. This time, 43 women and 161 men from 21 climbing teams went to climb the mountain. According to

department officer Sarmila Banjade, the most popular mountain this season is Manaslu. Only 162 climbers from 12 climbing teams have taken permission on this mountain. From which about 68.1 million rupees worth of royalty has been collected .

Other notable climbs include one climber on Everest, two climbers on Lohtse and 11 climbers on Nuptse. 

Similarly, limited climbers have reached Himlung, Khyang, Chumapik, Lhayul, Api and Kumbhakarna. This time the largest number of climbers were from 45 countries including 34 from China, 25 from Poland, 22 from Nepal, 13 from America, and 10 from France.
