Balen's statement against the Supreme Court order came under controversy, prompting Advocate Joshi to file a contempt of court case.
In the case of contempt of court registered against the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra (Balen) Shah, the judgment has been set in the Supreme Court on Monday.
Advocate Deepakraj Joshi is going to hear the petition filed by Shah for contempt of court.
The contempt case against Shah is being heard in the bench of judges Hariprasad Phuyal and Mahesh Sharma Paudel. This is the second hearing. A decision can be made after today's hearing. A case was filed against Shah on 1 August 2079.
The Supreme Court gave an interim order not to destroy the structure of Narvik Hospital. Against that order, Balen responded by saying that the Supreme Court will now also be allowed to pass the map.
Joshi filed a petition in the Supreme Court saying that his response was contempt of court.
