Chief Secretary Aryal's instructions to employees to improve government service delivery

The Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal, Ek Narayan Aryal, has instructed the employees to make the government service flow more efficient.

'People should be given accessible services without delay, people should not be given a chance to complain,' he said.

Addressing the interactive program on 'Citizen satisfaction and the role of public bodies in promoting good governance' held at Sankhuwasabha on Monday, Chief Secretary Aryal asked the employees to immediately stop the work of delaying the service and causing suffering to the public.

He said that the Kimathanka crossing should be made operational. Recalling that the issue of the northern crossing was discussed, Govinda Bahadur Karki, the Prime Minister's office, expressed his belief that this crossing can be operated in both winter and rainy season. That's why it is necessary to upgrade it," he said. Suman Shakya, the head of the district coordination committee, said that only 15 percent of the people in the district are experiencing good governance.
