Similarly, a lawsuit was filed against Sita Karki, the then accountant of Laxmi Mavi, and Arjun Tamang, who was responsible for the construction of Laxmi Mavi's building, was charged 1.6 million bigos and a prison sentence, according to Rajendra Kumar Paudel, spokesperson of the authority.
In the financial year 2071/072 for the construction of the 4-room RCC building of Lakshmi Mavi, an agreement was signed between the District Education Office Khotang and the school on February 22, 2071 for the construction of the building, and a cost estimate of Rs. During the construction of the building, funds were disbursed against the terms of the contract and from the on-site measurement and technical report, it was seen that only a building worth 2 lakh 72 thousand 328 rupees 61 was constructed in the field. However, it is mentioned in the authority's charge sheet that the district education office repeatedly paid 24 lakh rupees for the school's demand for payment by making false and incorrect physical work progress technical evaluations that were not contrary to the agreement between the two parties.
