Manang Pradesh Sabha (2) representative Rajiv Gurung ( Deepak Manange ) was dismissed after the order of the Supreme Court. On June 4th, the Supreme Court's Constitutional Bench of Chief Justice Prakashmansingh Raut along with judges Sapna Pradhan Malla, Kumar Regmi, Hariprasad Phuyal and Kumar Chudal gave a decision to dismiss Gurung.
The constitutional bench ruled that he was unfit to be a candidate and became an MP by falsifying details. After the Supreme Court published the full text of the judgment a few days ago, the government published a notice in the gazette and started the process of setting the election date.
