Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh inaugurated the newly constructed Kabir Ashram Satsang Trust Nepal building in Madhyabaneshwar. Inaugurating the building on Thursday, Minister Singh said that the ashram was built as a place for satsang.
Stating that satsang is an effective means of controlling the distortions and inconsistencies of the society and the unnecessarily wandering mind, he said that satsang helps to make the mind focused and restrained. He said that Kavir Ashram will also help to control the negative aspects of the society.
Bagmati Provincial Assembly member and former minister Dipendra Shrestha mentioned that the provincial government has prioritized the construction of infrastructure that has religious and cultural significance. He said that the government has initiated the construction of ashrams as a duty to protect heritage. "Kavir Ashram is an important place for Saints and Mahaguru to do satsang," he said.
President of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10 Ramkumar KC expressed his commitment to provide more financial and material support to the ashram. At the
event, Adarsh Das, patron of the Ashram Trust, said that the construction of the building was possible with everyone's support and love. Journalist Ramhari Shahi Samudri said that there is a trend of incitement and unnecessary excitement in the market and stressed on the need to follow Kabir's teachings to live a simple life. President of
