Nepal Bar Association, the umbrella organization of legal professionals, has formed a committee to study the judgment of the disputed judge.

The Bar has formed a committee under the leadership of senior advocate and former member of the Judicial Council, Upendra Keshari Neupane.

According to Kedar Prasad Koirala, Secretary General of the Bar, the judgment study committee has been formed according to the decision of the central working committee meeting in accordance with the Nepal Bar Association's Constitution, 2048. 

Controversial judgments from the Supreme Court, judicial deviations with double interpretation and judgments  The committee will study.  He informed that the report with the work done by the

committee will be presented in the Annual General Meeting and Central Executive Council meeting.  Dr. as a member of the

General Secretary Koirala will study the judgments which are conflicting with each other and are inconsistent with jurisprudence and the committee will also suggest to the Supreme Court. 

The decision of the Birganj High Court acquitting Mohammad Aftab Alam, the decision of the Supreme Court to lift the suspension of Congress MP Tek Bahadur Gurung, who was convicted in a corruption case, and some of the decisions of the constitutional bench are also controversial.

Similarly, during the time of Cholendra Shamsher Jabra, the judgments in many cases were disputed.  General Secretary Koirala said that the committee has been given the mandate to study all the cases of Supreme Court and High Court.
