Prime Minister and UML President KP Sharma Oli has said that former President Bidya Devi Bhandari did not cooperate in party unity.

Oli explained the activities done by former President Bhandari to be active in UML as an unhelpful step for party unity. Addressing a program held at the party's central office on Friday, Oli expressed dissatisfaction with the activities of former president Bhandari.

Oli also said that after Bhandari's exit from the presidency, he bent down the party workers and cut off the membership receipts. "Now there are accusations that the former president's membership has been revoked." Especially after he became the president, he gave up his party membership . Deduction of membership receipts that are not done by the employee will not be sustained. He has spoken outside,' said Oli, 'he has not come to the party and applied for membership renewal and new membership . We did not even imagine that he would not cooperate with party unity like this by gathering those who are dissatisfied in the party and those who have lost in one mass organization.'

Oli welcomed the senior vice-president of the Aam Janata Party, Upendra Sahahit, to the UML . Shah is an East Central member of UML .
