The National Assembly has unanimously passed the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081. The bill was unanimously passed by the National Assembly on Friday.

The bill passed by the House of Representatives and reached the National Assembly was unanimously passed. National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal announced that the bill was passed unanimously.

This bill was brought to facilitate the legal system of granting citizenship in the name of the mother . 

The bill passed by the National Assembly will be sent to the House of Representatives with a message. After that, Speaker Devraj Ghimire will verify and send it to the President's office for verification.
