Congress leader Shashank Koirala has said that the late leader Pradeep Giri was the pride of Nepal. Koirala said this while addressing the third memorial meeting of Giri held at Lahan in Siraha.
He said that Giri was a mine of knowledge and for this reason he was made a common leader not only of Congress but of all.
He also urged everyone to follow the path shown by Giri. "He was a mine of knowledge, that's why he became a common leader of everyone even though he did politics from the Congress," he said, "Let us all resolve to follow the path shown by him."
Koirala said that Giri did not oppose BP but questioned it. "I used to think that he was opposing BP's protest," he said, "but he used to question, there is a difference between protest and question."
