Nepali Congress Member of Parliament Dig Bahadur Limbu has said that it is not appropriate that the private sector, which is ready to donate crores of rupees, should give free education to five students.
He said this while speaking at a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee held at Singh Darbar on Thursday. On Wednesday, the report of the Committee on School Education Bill, 2080 was discussed. He said that the current school education bill is progressive. He said that there is no need to make unnecessary fuss about it.
He said, "This bill is progressive". The way the teacher friends are doing Kokohola, some have surrounded a leader, others have surrounded another leader . This problem has arisen because the leaders have not been able to stand up. If a group goes and tells the teacher to be careful, the leader also acts . If you go to another leader, the other one will also work . Can't stand . We have already told the leader, when the minister is told to do something, the minister also acts. This work should be done without breaking the leg .'
He made it clear that the government has not proceeded to hold private schools by the neck. He said that the problem is coming because the leaders cannot stick to one decision .
He said, 'We are in favor of moving forward by taking our friends from the private sector into trust and making them accountable. We are not in the process of grabbing their throats. There is an increase in prices. The need is increasing day by day. There is a situation where the fee has been increased . It is not a big panic situation. We know the friends of the private sector who are ready to give crores when donating, it is not a way to earn money to teach five students for free.'
MP Limbu said that the government is working to make the private sector accountable by taking it into confidence .
