CPN (Maoist Centre) Member of Parliament Rekha Sharma has said that the service facility of the principal should be clearly written in the bill.

She said this while speaking at a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee held at Singha Darbar on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the committee's report on the School Education Bill, 2080 was discussed. She also said that it is better to keep the subject of the principal in the province. She said that in the

bill, it should be mentioned in the bill that the principal will get the same service facilities as the highest level employees of the national service employees of the government of Nepal.

She said, 'We put the matter of the principal in the hands of the province. It is okay to select from the provinces, prepare a list of teacher candidates after conducting an examination by the Teachers Service Commission, and distribute them at the local level. However, we could not mention the additional service facilities of the principal. We said that it will be done as per our instructions. But if we try to make the principal beautiful by giving 300 or 500 rupees instead of what is specified, that purpose will not be fulfilled. This amount of money is not written in the bill but it can be written that this kind of facility will be given. Which is the highest level of national service employees of Nepal government till the headmaster? Even if it is a matter that service facilities of that level will be provided, it should be mentioned somewhere.
