11 people were injured in a jeep accident in Darchula. 4 of the injured are in serious condition.
On Thursday morning, Darchula police information officer Chhatra Bahadur Rawat said that a jeep numbered Suppr 04001 J 0103, which was going to Hopri from Nougad Rural Municipality-4 Hopri in Darchula, met with an accident. According to Rawat, 4 out of 11 people in the jeep were seriously injured. The seriously injured are 25-year-old Parvati Tamta, 26-year-old Mohan Thagunna, 18-year-old Apsara Mahata and 35-year-old Umesh Thagunna. They have been taken to Gokuleswar Hospital for treatment.
The police say that the accident occurred when the car did not brake on the slippery road. The jeep was driven by Lokendra Singh Thagunna.
