Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has decided to provide Swarnaprasan drops of Ayurvedic method for the development of children's immunity.
Experts say that golden ash mixed with ghee and honey and given in the form of drops will increase immunity and improve the physical and mental development of children.
Minister Paudel has also approved the directive to provide such a drop from 6 months to 5 years of birth across the country through a ministerial decision. Last year, Minister Paudel announced that such a program would be introduced to increase the immunity of children.
Now the program will be started in the first phase through 25 Ayurvedic health institutions across the country. Prakash Budhathoki informed. Spokesman Budhathoki said that there is a plan to expand such a program to all Ayurvedic institutions in the country in the coming year.
'This is an important step in protecting the health of citizens through the promotion and use of Ayurvedic technology within the country,' he said.
Minister Paudel has made arrangements to obtain international standard GMP to promote Ayurvedic medicines and treatment methods so that domestic products can be exported to foreign countries.
Minister Paudel has arranged for Ayurvedic producers to obtain this certificate from the Drug Administration Department for exporting abroad and producing quality products within the country.
Minister Paudel's Secretariat has also announced that the civil health program has been promoted at all local levels of the country in the new budget.
