Former President Vidya Devi Bhandari has said that the local media are the eyes of the people. Speaking on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Udghosh Dainik, published from Biratnagar, she mentioned that giving priority to the local voice will affect the center.
Bhandari did not make any political comments in the program and only focused on local communication, the future of the youth and the challenges of sustainable development. According to him, failure to stop the exodus of energetic youth can have a serious impact on state building.

She reminded that she has been a worker of UML for more than 45 years and said that she will work in the interest of the party.
After Bhandari announced his return to active politics on July 14, the party's central committee revoked his membership. But Bhandari has made it clear that she will continue her campaign, saying that she has renewed her membership according to the party's constitution.

Bhandari has mentioned that her political life can be continued even after the post and every citizen can return after being elected. She reiterated that her membership and commitment to the party remains despite not being aware of the official decision of the party.
