Indian Foreign Secretary Bikram Misri, who is visiting Nepal, held a meeting with the leaders of the Madhesh-centric party on Monday. On the second day of his visit, Misri held a group meeting with the leaders of the Madhesh-centric party at Hotel Dwarikaj.

Democratic Samajwadi Party President Mahant Thakur, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal President Upendra Yadav, Janata Progressive Party President Hridayash Tripathi, Rashtriya Mukti Party Nepal President Rajendra Mahato and Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party President Vrishesh Chandra Lal Misri participated in the meeting. Leader Tripathi said that the conversation focused on the relationship between the two countries.

Foreign Secretary Misri came to Kathmandu on Sunday. During his two-day stay in Nepal, he met President Ram Chandra Paudel, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Misri, who came at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Amrit Rai, also met with Foreign Minister Arju Deuba.
