In the last four days alone, 16 laborers including 9 Nepalis working in Kuwait have died. Although it is said that their death may have been due to consumption of toxic alcohol, it has not been clear yet. According to Giriprasad Acharya, Labor Assistant of the Nepali Embassy in Kuwait, the exact cause of death has not been revealed as the post-mortem report of the deceased has not yet been received. According to the embassy, the total number of dead workers has reached 16.

According to the embassy, most of the workers who died were employed in various companies in the Sulamiya area. 15 unwell Nepali workers are being treated in four different hospitals.

in which Acharya said that the embassy is coordinating . The embassy has also started dialogue with the relevant government office in Kuwait to find the cause of death.
