Two advisers of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra (Balen) Shah are preparing to become candidates for the by-elections for members of the House of Representatives to be held in Rupandehi-3.
Mayor Shah's legal adviser and advocate Omprakash Aryal is preparing to become a candidate in the by-election of Rupandehi. Likewise, Santosh Giri, who is an advisor in Shah's secretariat, has already announced his candidacy.
Giri, who worked as a food advisor to Mayor Shah, is a local resident of Tilottama Municipality in Rupandehi. Aryal was born in Gulmi and has been living in Lalitpur. Both have prepared to run as independent candidates.
Aryal is preparing for candidacy. "I am ready to make a decision according to the time and situation," he said, "Now I will enter politics sooner or later."
from Roopandehi-3 The by-election is about to be held after the death of the elected member of the House of Representatives, Deepak Bohora of RPP. The date of the said by-election has been set for November 17.
