The Council of Ministers has decided to give a grant of 9 million dollars from South Korea for the infrastructure development of Gandaki Technical School.

The government has approved the National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy, 2082. Government spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung informed that this decision was taken at the cabinet meeting held on Monday.
Speaking at a press conference organized to publicize the decisions of the meeting on Thursday, he informed that the guidelines for purchasing through service providers for the operation and maintenance of public infrastructure have been approved.
According to him, the meeting has accepted the grant aid of 9 million US dollars (about 1 billion 25 million rupees) received from the South Korean government for the infrastructure development of Gandaki Technical School. He also informed that for the financial year 2082/83, the minimum support price of coarse rice is 3,463.81 per quintal and that of medium rice is 3,628.33 per quintal.
Other such are the remaining decisions of Monday's cabinet meeting -
1. Approving the visit of Madhes Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh to Switzerland from 15th to 21st August 2082 to participate in the program on 'A Study Tour on Inter-Governmental Corporation and Competitiveness in the Swiss Federal System'.
2. To approve Deputy Auditor General Bindu Bista to participate in the 'Asian Organization of Supreme Institutions Brokering Upscaled SAI Support' workshop to be held in the Philippines from 6th to 10th October 2082.
3. To accept the grant aid of 9 million US dollars (about 1 billion 25 million Nepalese rupees) received from the South Korean government for the infrastructure development project of Gandaki Technical School.

9. Bajura District Savik Bandhu Village Ward No. 23,055 square meter land of 4 to be approved for use by Himali Rural Municipality, Bajura for construction of building of Dhulachaur health service center.
10. To approve the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport to participate in the 'Ministerial Roundtable Session Drawing the Asia Pacific Regional Road Safety Conference' to be held in Manila, Philippines from 24th to 26th August 2082.
11. Approving the foreign travel of one Nepali Army officer and adding the term of office of one assistant officer.
12. To approve the Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to participate in the 'Second Global Summit of the School Mills Coalition' to be held in Fortaleza, Brazil from 2nd to 3rd October 2082 under the organization of the 'School Mills Coalition'.
13. Under the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, there are employment service centers at the local level, National Vocational Training Institute (Bhainsepati), Vocational Training Center (Butwal) and Vocational Training Center (Itahari). To approve 725 temporary posts of officer level required in 2082/83.
14. To approve the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to participate in the 'Forty-second Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization' to be held in Montreal, Canada from 7th to 17th October 2082.
15. Appointing Sandeep Rai, Panchthar in the vacant post of General Manager of National News Committee.
16. Under the Public Procurement Act, 2063, issuing an order to remove obstacles and approving the guidelines, 2082 regarding the procurement of operation, management and maintenance services of public infrastructure through service providers.
