The Judicial Council recommended 27 judges of the High Court on July 22.

27 judges recommended to the High Court have taken oath. Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut administered the oath to the appointed judges on Wednesday.
The Judicial Council decided on 22nd to appoint judges including district judges, legal professionals and officers of the Justice and Law Group. In the recommendations made by the council, 16 district judges, 6 legal professionals and five people from the justice and legal services and government lawyers were recommended.
The council appointed them soon after the recommendation. The Secretary of the Judicial Council, Yam Bahadur Budhamgar, was appointed and posted to High Court Surkhet, Jumla Bench, Dhading District Court Judge Gopal Prasad Banstola, Patan High Court, Olkhadhunga District Judge Giriraj Gautam to High Court Deepayal, Mahendranagar Bench.
Gulmi District Judge Yuvraj Gautam was appointed to Biratnagar High Court Temporary Bench Okhaldhunga, Dang District Judge Tejnarayan Poudel to Tulsipur High Court Butwal Bench, Parbat District Judge Prakash Dhungana to High Court Patan, Udaipur District Judge Deepak Kumar Kharel was appointed to High Court Patan.
District Judge Shiv Bahadur Ranabhat of Gorkha was appointed to High Court Patan, District Judge Kamal Prasad Pokhrel of Kathmandu was appointed to High Court Janakpur, District Judge Vasudev Neupane of Bhaktapur was appointed to High Court Patan, District Judge Dal Bahadur KC of Palpa was appointed to High Court Tulsipur, Nepalganwa Bench, District Judge Prakash Chandra Adhikari of Kapilvastu was appointed to High Court Dipayal, District Judge of Chitwan Ramesh Prasad Gyawali was appointed to High Court Patan.
Similarly, District Judge Uday Prasad Bhattarai of Morang was transferred by High Court Biratnagar (Dhankuta Bench), District Judge Avni Mainali Bhattarai of Makwanpur was transferred to High Court Patan, Registrar Khadraj Adhikari of High Court Pokhara was transferred to High Court Dipayal, High Public Prosecutor's Office, Associate Advocate Shankar Khatri of Patan was transferred to High Court Janakpur (Temporary Bench Birgunj), Registrar of Supreme Court. Achyut Kuinkel was appointed High Court Patan, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Komal Bahadur Khatri was appointed to High Court Surkhet.
The Justice Council has appointed lawyer Sharmila Thapa Bista to Patan High Court (Hetaunda Bench), Pratapsingh Thakurathi to Tulsipur High Court (Butwal Bench), Balkrishna Gayre to Pokhara High Court (Baglung Bench), Nisha Baniyan to Tulsipur High Court (Butwal Bench), Shyam Kumar Vishwakarma to Dipayal High Court and Arun Kumar Panjiar to Biratnagar High Court (Temporary Bench).
