Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has claimed that the rumors spread that there is load shedding are unfounded. Minister Khadka made this claim while answering the oral questions of the parliamentarians at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
According to him, the electricity supply is going smoothly all over the country except for some areas of the country. He also claimed that the government is rapidly promoting the expansion and supply of electricity.
Minister Khadka said that the government is making a profit equal to five billion through the export of electricity. We are exporting electricity worth 17.72 billion rupees and importing 12.92 billion rupees. We are taking a profit of about 5 billion rupees, he said.
