169 Nepalis who were unable to return home after the Bhotekoshi flood washed away Miteri bridge in Rasuwa are being brought to Nepal through Tatopani crossing on Wednesday. On the initiative of the government of Nepal and China, local administration and concerned bodies, there is a plan to take it to Kathmandu from Kerung in Tibet via Nelam via Tatopani Pass in Sindhupalchok.

According to Arjun Paudel, Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, arrangements have been made to bring them to Nepal after Nepali people living in Kerung for various professions started falling ill and some expressed concern that they would not be able to return home. According to Paudel, many of those returning to Nepal are from Rasuwa. He said that he got information that there were 169 people after transporting the people coming to Nepal. At the beginning, 181 people mentioned their names to come to Nepal, but some stayed there, he said.

After the Tatopani crossing was completely closed due to the earthquake, there was an increase in business transactions from Rasuwa crossing. Those who have been staying in Kerung for a long time doing business like tourism and hotel are going to return to Nepal. After the collapse of the Miteri bridge in Rasuwa, the only way to return to Nepal is the Tatopani pass, so the Chinese government is going to bring the Tatopani Miteri bridge through auction by arranging vehicles for them.

According to Sindhupalchok Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Karki, they will be brought to the border by the evening if the Chinese government manages them.

Inspector Jagat Rai of Border Police Kodari in Tatopani informed that arrangements have been made to take them to Rasuwa via Kathmandu. According to him, they will be brought to Miteri bridge between 2 and 3 o'clock.

The Kodari Immigration Office, representatives of the local administration, Nepal Police, Armed Police will be in charge. Chinese government officials have planned to send them to Nepal. On the 7th of last year, China brought 203 Nepalis to the Tatopani crossing in the current process. At that time, there were many Nepali drivers, co-drivers, employees of commercial firms and others.
