Where did UML MP Gokul Baskota reach the issue of constitutional amendment? He asked the government. In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, MP Baskota of the ruling party expressed his displeasure saying that although the current government has done some positive things, the process of constitutional amendment has not been moved forward.
MP Baskota says that everyone needs to be aware that they are trying to weaken the democratic system by establishing the comment that the parties are unable to do anything.
'This equation raised a few things . But it must be said - where did the subject of constitutional amendment go? That subject should come forward now. And we have to review ourselves too . Must be ready to improve in the areas of improvement . We should also be ready to improve where we need to improve,' he said.
He also says that the new political parties are into populism. He also urged to play a role in strengthening the system rather than weakening it by boycotting the parliament.
