The Hindu Kush Himalaya region includes Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Afghanistan, China and India. The committee has sent invitations to countries other than Afghanistan. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Myanmar have already sent the names of those who will participate in the conference . Since Bangladesh and Myanmar do not currently have parliaments, there will be participation from their governments.
Baral informed that there will be representation from Pakistan and Bhutan through the parliamentary committee there. 18 guests will come from those countries . The committee has not yet received information about who will come from India and China. Committee chairperson MP Kusum Devi Thapa said that for the first time, the committee is going to organize a program with international participation. "We are in the last stage of preparation, it is expected that 30 to 35 foreign guests will participate," she said, "Apart from the Hindu Kush region, some countries have also been invited as observers." "We are all connected to the mountains, we want the discussion to be focused on the issue of how to protect the mountains," she said.
