Butterfly 'Chandi Dharse Babulpari', which is considered very rare in Nepal, has been found in Sauraha, a tourist area of Chitwan. Chitwan butterfly expert Tek Bahadur Gurung said that this butterfly has been seen in Nepal since 1974. A book titled Field Guide, Butterflies of Chitwan, Nepal was published only last year, co-authored by Gurung. The team including Gurung saw the butterfly on Tuesday afternoon.

Initially, nature guide Rojan Subedi saw this butterfly in front of Chitwan park gate in Sauraha. After that, Tek Bahadur Gurung, Milan Tamang, Vishal Lama and Basu Bidari went and took a picture of this doll. I sent photos and videos to the local and foreign doll experts in our group. They said that this butterfly is very rare for Nepal," said Tek Bahadur Gurung.

Pokhara's doll experts Sajan KC and Surendra Periyar and the team of Piet Ven from the Netherlands further identified and confirmed it, Gurung informed. Colin Smith, known as 'Putli Baje' in Nepal, recorded this putli for the first time in Makwanpur in 1974 . Gurung claims that this butterfly was found in Chitwan for the second time after 51 years. Its scientific name is Ginaspa todara  He said that it happened. In English it is called Silver Streaked Amasia Blue . After 51 years of the first record, this extremely rare butterfly appeared in Chitwan for the second time. Conservation workers from Chitwan are proud to see such a rare butterfly in Sauraha guise," said Gurung.

While there are 692 species of butterflies found in Nepal, Gurung said that there are more than 312 butterflies in Chitwan alone. According to Gurung, who believes that there are many butterflies in places with good sources of water and diverse types of vegetation, butterflies are an indicator of a healthy environment.

Seeing colorful dolls makes the heart happy . Butterflies also play a role in agriculture for pollination. Apart from this, Gurung said that it is also important in tourism as tourists from abroad come to see the butterfly.
