General Secretary of the Maoist Center, Dev Gurung, has said that he will soon unite with the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Vikram Chand.
In an interaction organized by Samwad Double here on Wednesday, Gurung informed that a negotiation team would be formed immediately and prepare the basis of unity. He said that there is a growing threat to the system in the country and unity between the forces of like-mindedness is essential for the socialist revolution. "Now discussions are going on for unity not only with BIPLBji's party but also with CPN (S) according to the demands of the country, the people and the times", he said.
The idea of unity with the CPN does not differ much in terms of political commitment, so it will be easy to unite quickly, Gurung said, 'We need to prepare a unity base by discussing topics such as minimum to maximum programs for socialist revolution, how to strengthen the organization, how to struggle in the house and the streets.'
