CPN (Maoist Center) MP Madhav Sapkota has alleged that the current government, which was formed with the promise of constitutional amendment, good governance and stability, has failed completely.

Speaking at the Wednesday meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Sapkota made such allegations. He alleged that the constitution amendment process was not started according to the purpose of forming the government, it was not coordinated and it failed to promote good governance. He also alleged that in the case of Lichibari land in Pokhara, Sozha minister of Madhesi origin has been relieved of his post but the main accused is being protected. He alleged that although the opposition party is always ready to support the positive work of the government, the government is busy with corruption and irregularities.

He said, ``Constitutional amendment, it was seen when the government was formed to maintain good governance and stability in the country when it reached Lychi Bari. A straight minister from Madhes origin was shot down. As Chanakya said, a tree is ultimately cut down. Another crooked tree is crooked. That tree must have been well watered and well protected. The government that has given the slogan of constitutional amendment, stability and good governance will not invite anyone for a minute to discuss it even to this day? And now, what will be achieved by insulting the populists? Let's do a good job. The opposition is ready to sign the papers for that. But scandals do not happen.'

He said that nothing will be achieved by opposing populism and asked the government to pay attention to practical reforms and result-oriented actions .
