The Patan High Court has upheld the District Court's order to release Mahimansingh Bista, a Branch Officer of the Judicial Service, on bail.

Kirte wrote a letter and sent Chaudhary to prison, arguing that the verdict of the case pending in the Supreme Court against Resham Chaudhary, the guardian of the Civil Liberties Party, was "like this". Later, a case was filed against him for forging government documents. In the same case, District Court Kathmandu ordered him to be released on bail.

On June 5, District Court Kathmandu Judge Dinbandhu Baral ordered Bista to be released on a bond of one lakh rupees. On Thursday, the bench of High Court Judge Sudarshandev Bhatt and Kailash Prasad Subedi upheld the order of the district.

Chaudhary, the patron of the Civil Liberation Party, filed a writ against Bista on 19th June in Patan High Court, saying that he was taken to prison by conspiracy. Since Bista also reached the higher court with a petition, the order of the district was upheld on Thursday saying that it was not valid.
