Discussion between Ambassador Pandit and Counselor Hirs

The second meeting between Nepal's Ambassador to Israel Dhan Prasad Pandit and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's adviser on hostage matters Gal Hirs has been completed. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic and hostage situations were discussed in the meeting between them in Tel Aviv on Wednesday.

In the meeting, the issue of Nepali citizens held hostage by Hamas, which has not yet received any concrete evidence, was raised with special priority.

Ambassador Pandit expressed his expectation of continued coordination and cooperation with the Israeli side while making a special request for the speedy and safe release of Bipin. On that occasion, there was also a discussion on the issue of the high-level visit between Nepal and Israel for a long time.
