What you should know

For the meeting of the parliamentary party, a team including the Acting Chairman of the RSVP and the Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party has arrived in Bhairahawa.

Acting Chairman Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal, Deputy Chairman Dr. Swarnim Wagle, General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, Spokesperson Manish Jha and most of the MPs arrived in Bhairahawa on Tuesday evening. Other MPs arrived on Wednesday morning.

Before the meeting of the parliamentary party, a team including acting chairman, deputy chairman, general secretary and spokesperson tried to meet Ravi Lamichhane collectively on Tuesday morning. However, after the administration rejected the proposal of the leaders, only two people met separately. According to the sources, acting chairman of the party DP Aryal met with Lamichhane on Tuesday. MP Sovita Gautam met on Wednesday morning.

Acting Chairman Aryal had a conversation with Lamichhane for 15 to 20 minutes on Wednesday after the administration informed that the group could not meet. Although Ravi's message was made public in the previous meeting, it has not been made public what was discussed between Lamichhane and Aryal in Tuesday's meeting. According to sources, there was more discussion about the latest political developments, the by-elections to be held in Rupandehi Region No. 3 and the parliamentary party of RSVP.

After Lamichhane's parliamentary post was suspended, the RSVP parliamentary party is in a leaderless situation. As the caretaker has not been appointed yet, it is not decided who will chair the meeting. Deputy leader Virajbhakta Shrestha is coordinating the parliamentary party. Aryal talked about how to proceed in that matter.

"However, Lamichhane did not give any indication about choosing the leader of the party right away," the source said.

The time for the meeting of the Parliamentary Party of RSVP has been fixed from 1 pm to 4 pm on Wednesday. The meeting will be held at Hotel Ramada, which is 10 minutes away from the prison. Buddhiprasad Sharma has informed.

According to Santosh Periyar, chief whip of RSVP parliamentary party, the party's MPs will stay in Bhairahawa and Rupandehi region no. 3 for two days today and tomorrow. "In the meeting of the parliamentary party, we are discussing the current political situation of the country, the issue of visit visa raised by the party in the parliament," he said.

After the meeting of the parliamentary party, the parliamentarians will participate in the signature campaign conducted by the party. Pariyar said that the issue of Rupandehi elections will also be discussed in the meeting. The party has already requested applications from those who are interested in being a candidate in the by-election of Rupandehi area No. 3. Its deadline is 21st July.
