The MPs of the main opposition Maoists have alleged that the government is the main culprit for the increase in corruption in the country. In the National Assembly, Maoist MP Jag Prasad Sharma said that corruption and government have now become synonymous.
In the meeting of the National Assembly on Wednesday, MP Sharma said that the government is the main culprit for the increase in corruption in the country.
If the government fails to take strict measures to control corruption, MP Sharma has also warned the government that the country will be blacklisted. He said that the government has not taken any effective steps to stop corruption. Now the main problem of the nation has become corruption. The main culprit of corruption is the government. "Government and corruption have now become synonymous," MP Sharma said, "Government should be able to find the problem within itself and not elsewhere." If it cannot be stopped, the country and the people are going towards ruin. The future of the next generation is becoming more and more bleak. If it is not stopped in time, the country will not come out of the 'grey list' or it may go directly to the 'black list'.
MP Sharma requested the government to take special measures to control corruption. He also said that the assets of public officials should be investigated.
