2050 was the month of February. The marriage was arranged in former Ratnapur Village Development Committee Ward No. 2 Dhurkot (now Chapakot Municipality-2). After the marriage was arranged in the village, the joy was on one side, relatives and residents gathered around the neighborhood.

The people at the village wedding were Haste Wik and Bajindra Bahadur Sotimgar. In 2050 Haste Vick was 60 years old and Bajindra was 16 years old. They were not related to each other in marriage. However, the age was the same as father and son. Haste and Soti, who had gone to Pokhara, quarreled with each other. After the fight turned violent, the beatings took place. He was seriously injured. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. The doctor declared him dead during treatment.

After the incident, the family of the deceased Haste filed a case of duty killing at the district police office, Syangja. After registering a complaint, the police arrested and registered a case of duty killing in the district court. The district court released him on a bond of 5,000. Relatives of the victim demanded imprisonment for only 22 days.

Dissatisfied with the decision of the district court, the relatives of the deceased approached the then appeals court. After the appeal upheld the decision of the District Court, the victim approached the Supreme Court. In favor of the victim, the Supreme Court imposed a two-year prison sentence on October 7, 2059.

Sotimagar, who was absconding after the Supreme Court verdict, was arrested on Tuesday after 23 years. Finally, Soti was forced to serve 46 years for the crime committed in 16 years. Superintendent of Police Dadhiram Neupane informed that the plainclothes police team from District Police Office Syangja arrested Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, Biruta.

According to SP Neupane, Sotimgar changed his name and obtained citizenship after he turned 16 years old. "It was very difficult for us to find out in the investigation," SP Neupane says, "One has changed his name. Another thing, the incident became old. All the missiles (file) were burned in 2058 during the conflict. Despite the problem of not finding the old files in the police, we were able to arrest him.

Sotimgar, who was doing business in Pokhara, was brought to the district jail after the police brought him to the district court in Syangja to pay the prison sentence on Tuesday.
