The fourth edition of the Nepal Youth Entrepreneurship Summit will be held on August 30th under the joint initiative of National Youth Council and Nepal Business Institute (NBI).

The agreement regarding the fourth edition of the conference was signed on Tuesday. The MoU was signed by Council's Executive Vice President Surendra Basnet and NBI Executive Chairman Vishal Gayre. Yuva Parishad and Nepal Business Institute have been organizing the conference since 2019.  Basnet, executive vice president of

council, said that the purpose of organizing the conference is to inform about the efforts made by the government at all three levels by attracting the Genji generation to entrepreneurship. He believes that the conference will be beneficial to encourage young people to become entrepreneurs and facilitate financial start-up enterprises. 

NBI Executive Chairman Gayre said that the government, private sector and international partner agencies will take stock of the policy and program achievements so far in promoting youth entrepreneurship. He informed that 500 representatives from all over the country including young people who want to become entrepreneurs, young people who are doing business and investors who are investing in startups, high-ranking government officials and other stakeholders will participate in the conference.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the conference with the main slogan 'Youth Entrepreneurship: Policy, Program and Implementation'. The conference will be attended by former Prime Ministers, Ministers of Finance, Ministers of Industry, charitable organizations and high-ranking officials of the private sector.
