Bimal Paidel has been appointed as the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court. The Judicial Service Commission has appointed Padel as the Chief Registrar.

Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut chaired the meeting of the Commission appointed Paidel. Man Bahadur Karki was recommended along with Paidel for the Chief Registrar.

Chief registrar Devendraraj Dhakal retired on compulsory retirement and the post became vacant.
